NX STEP
Platform Use & Data Notice
These terms explain how the current service is intended to be used. They are not a substitute for legal advice.
1. What NX STEP provides
NX STEP provides basketball identity, evidence, evaluation, development, pathway and related account features. The same account may also expose connected community, creation, marketplace, business, training and persistent-space features as they become relevant.
Basic account and released platform functions do not require purchase. Paid services, goods, bookings or other offers are separate from identity, proof, rank and evaluation authority.
2. Athlete and evidence data
Depending on what you choose to provide, your record may include identity and basketball information such as name, position, school or program, height, weight, graduation year, location, goals, current basketball context, film, statistics, testing, measurements, coach notes, official records, public-web sources or social clips.
Submitting information does not automatically make it verified. Evidence and the conclusions drawn from it remain separate.
3. Privacy and visibility
Private account, athlete and evidence information is intended to remain private unless you choose a feature that makes specific information public.
Public profiles, posts and other content you intentionally publish can be visible to other users. Publishing something does not automatically make it verified evidence about you.
Use your privacy settings to control available profile and visibility options. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
4. Evaluations and AI assistance
An intake or uploaded item does not automatically change a score, grade, release state or evaluation result.
Some features may use AI to help organize information, draft language, answer questions or form a working basketball read. AI assistance does not independently verify evidence, create permission, or guarantee an outcome.
Human-reviewed evaluations, when offered, are completed through an authorized human review process. Evaluations are basketball reads at a point in time and can change when relevant evidence changes. They do not guarantee recruiting, roster, scholarship, placement, professional or financial outcomes.
5. Research is separate
Creating an account, using NX STEP, submitting evidence, receiving an evaluation, or using ordinary connected product features does not by itself mean you agreed to participate in research.
Any future research involving identifiable participant data must use a separate research-consent process that explains the purpose, data use, withdrawal rights and other required information.
6. Minors and authorized submissions
If you submit information for another athlete, you must be authorized to provide it.
For minors, a parent, guardian or other legally authorized person may be required depending on the feature, information involved and applicable law. An in-app declaration does not replace any legal consent that may be required.
7. Community content and safety
Public posts, comments, profiles, live-media titles and other user-generated content are subject to the Community Guidelines.
Content may be reviewed, restricted or removed when it appears to violate the rules or applicable law. Users can report supported content and block abusive accounts. A report is an allegation for review, not automatic proof of wrongdoing.
8. OnlyHops health and training boundary
OnlyHops provides athletic training, movement and performance-development information. It is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease or injury.
Pain, injury, illness or other medical concerns should be evaluated by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. For urgent or emergency symptoms, use local emergency services.
9. Purchases, pricing and billing
Basic NX STEP account access is not sold as a paid entitlement. Payment does not purchase identity, proof, rank or a more favorable basketball result.
Paid offerings may include professional services, real-world training, physical goods, digital products, subscriptions or marketplace items depending on what is actually available.
Digital in-app purchases that are not currently enabled cannot be purchased through the app. If digital store products are enabled later, the applicable Apple or Google purchase, restore, cancellation and refund rules will apply.
Before a charge is authorized, the buyer should be able to understand what is being purchased, the price and currency, any recurring billing where applicable, what will be delivered, and the relevant refund or dispute route.
10. Corrections, deletion and support
You may request correction of inaccurate information, add new evidence, challenge an unsupported interpretation, or request help through the Service Center.
Account deletion can be requested from the Account Deletion page. Some information may need to be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, tax, safeguarding or other lawful reasons.
For additional help, use the Support page.
