How Gates Unseen changes viewership

Privacy is a depth boundary, not one public/private wall.

Move a slider to the right to set a deeper intended relationship boundary for that protected category. Move it left to allow broader potential viewership. Your profile’s World Surface setting and each individual object’s own permissions can still be stricter.

Relationship depth is directional. What you choose to reveal to someone does not force them to reveal the same depth to you, and simply being around someone does not deepen the relationship.
